This is exactly the same as Training Budget 4, with the addition of a tab for the distribution of profit share based on the profit share points system outlined in Open Book Theatre Management.
As always, please remember that I do not advocate profit share productions as being an alternative to the use of full Union contracts in any way whatsoever. People deserve to be paid properly. Profit Share Open Book Theater Management productions must only be viewed as a stepping-stone to the eventual use of full Union contracts. Each successive production must improve the working conditions, remuneration, or both, of all involved in the production, or you make a mockery of the whole idea of Open Book Theater Management as a methodology.
However, I do recognise that whatever legislation may be in place (and do remember that it is your responsibility to check how employment law may or may not apply to you in your own Country or State), low/no budget productions often happen using the premise of a share of potential profits between all those involved in a production. I firmly believe that the Open Book Theater Management Profit Points system is the fairest way that has yet been devised of achieving that.
Start off by reading the notes and guidance on the Summary tab, and then head on over to the Profit Share tab so you can start playing around with possible financial scenarios again in order to see how this new addition works.
